There was a point for me where I was trying SO HARD to make keto work, but just couldn’t help but repeat over and over to myself, “Keto is not working. Keto is NOT working.” So I quit! Ha ha. Just kidding about eating junk instead!! What I’m trying to say is, there’s an EASIER ALTERNATIVE to keto. It’s called the MADE Diet! Thank you for your article. I found keto is total BS for me. So I don’t feel alone. It’s just not sustainable long term. I put more weight on keto instead of losing. But what I found that did work and was sustainable was food combining according to Dr. Herbert Shelton. He’s probably one of the pioneers of nutrition and diet. People try keto, claim it doesn’t work, and now they’re switching to paleo. The problem I think is that there’s a lot of keto “information” online but some of it is complete nonsense in my opinion. I'm much more dedicated because I'm seeing results. I've dropped about 4% body fat and gained 5 pounds of muscle in the last 6 weeks. I'm pretty happy with that. It's a much more sustainable diet for me, and so far, it's giving me the results I wanted. I’m not recommending this diet for everyone, but it works for me.
